Accept, Believe, and Confess – Steps to Follow Jesus

At ThePLACE, we believe that following Jesus starts with three important steps: Accept, Believe, and Confess. These steps are rooted in a powerful verse from the Bible, John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 (NIV)

Let’s dive into what each step entails:

1. ACCEPT

Accept that you are loved by God, and He desires a personal relationship with you. God’s love is unconditional, and He longs to extend grace and forgiveness to all who believe in Him. Open your heart and accept this incredible gift of love.

2. BELIEVE

Believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. He willingly sacrificed Himself on the cross to pay the price for our sins. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior. Put your trust and faith in Him, believing that He can transform your life.

3. CONFESS

Confess your belief in Jesus Christ openly and publicly. Share with others about your decision to follow Jesus, and proclaim Him as your Lord and Savior. Confession is an important step in declaring your faith to the world and identifying yourself as a follower of Jesus.
